She says: “Our company gives certificates for years of service, and when they complete a Corporate Education, MOS, or MOC course. We also have commendation boards at each coffee station for formal commendation letters to be copied and posted.”

I think a public commendation is a good idea for employee recognition. Let people know that they are being seen and and heard and appreciated. It’s always good to receive a little bit of praise for doing something good.
