It’s WOW Wednesday! HR leaders, execs, and managers: How do you WOW the people who go above and beyond for you in your business? Or, how have you been WOWed?
Today’s WOW Wednesday comes from Cathy.
She says: “During our award ceremony we present the employee with their award and also give the spouse a recognition gift. During registration we ask about interesting hobbies, accomplishments, family history, if they are celebrating a special event like a retirement, wedding anniversary, or birthday. We also ask what personal achievement or behavior was a key attribute to their achievement. We share these stories in a formal setting and congratulate each employee in a group setting.”
