Terryberry Among Michigan's Best and Brightest in Wellness 4th Year in a Row

September 23, 2019

Terryberry is proud to announce that for the 4th year in a row (#wellness4peat) Terryberry has been selected as one of the Best and Brightest in Wellness in the state of Michigan.  “We want to congratulate the entire Terryberry  Team for their role in supporting wellness at Terryberry and a big thank-you to our Terryberry Wellness Committee for their important role in the achievement,” says Terryberry’s managing partner Mike Byam.
Both internally with staff and through the company’s interaction with customers and prospects, employee wellness is an area of focus for Terryberry’s business today.   Terryberry ramped up their own internal employee wellness program a half-decade ago.  “As a team, we actively pursued the goal of helping each other Be Well.  In a short amount of time, we saw that it was truly impacting the lives and health of many of our employees.  Individuals were reducing their risk factors and feeling better,” says Byam.
Inspired by the impact, Terryberry sought to offer a solution for employee wellness to the marketplace.  Terryberry’s corporate wellness program was added to their 360 Recognition Platform, and has been quickly and enthusiastically embraced by clients.  The app provides a complete employee wellness program including a health risk assessment, personal and group wellness challenges, wellness rewards, social encouragement, and fitness tracker integration.
Additionally Terryberry has launched Workplace Walking Challenges, where organizations can compete in 6-week walking challenges to encourage healthy activity among their staff.  Terryberry’s Workplace Walking Challenges debuted in West Michigan and have begun to expand across the country.  Next on the Workplace Walking Challenge circuit is Arizona.  Arizona organizations are encouraged to sign up to enjoy fun and fitness while competing with other organizations in their state for prestigious awards.  The Arizona Workplace Walking Challenge takes place October 7 through November 17.  Registration is open now.
