Workplace flexibility is often marketed as a benefit, yet many organizations struggle to define and apply it consistently. This webinar reframes flexibility as a strategic business approach, not a perk, clarifying what flexibility really means, what it does not, and why it matters now. Participants will explore how vague or informal flexibility practices create confusion, inconsistency, and risk—undermining both performance and trust.

The session also examines the gendered impact of flexible work, highlighting how women are disproportionately affected when flexibility is culturally discouraged, unevenly approved, or quietly penalized. We will unpack how caregiving expectations, biased assumptions about commitment, and manager-by-manager decision-making contribute to burnout, stalled careers, and higher turnover—and why ignoring these dynamics weakens leadership pipelines and organizational outcomes.

Finally, participants will be guided through a practical, actionable framework for designing and implementing flexibility that works across roles and levels. The webinar will focus on embedding flexibility into policies, workflows, and performance management—while addressing risk, security, and accountability. Attendees will leave with a clear roadmap for creating flexible workplaces that support equity, sustain high performance, and drive measurable business results.

In this webinar, participants will learn to:

  1. Redefine workplace flexibility as a strategic business approach

  2. Examine the gendered impact of flexible work practices

  3. Implement a practical framework for embedding flexibility into policies, workflows, and performance management
