As DEI initiatives face unprecedented pushback—with tech giants slashing budgets by 90%—forward-thinking organizations have quietly evolved to DEI&B, adding “belonging” for good reason. While diversity brings different people in and inclusion invites participation, belonging determines whether they stay and thrive. Recent research shows that lacking a sense of belonging at work can be more distressing to employees than being harassed.

The business impact is undeniable: belonging drives 56% better job performance, 50% lower turnover, and 75% fewer sick days—worth $52 million annually for a 10,000-person organization. With 26% of workers feeling emotionally unsafe at work and 27% unable to discuss issues without fear of retaliation, the solution isn’t more DEI training—it’s strategic belonging initiatives.

Join us for an in-depth exploration of Terryberry’s research-validated belonging measurement and inclusive recognition strategies that create workplaces where authentic contribution thrives. You’ll see assessment tools that measure belonging across interpersonal and organizational levels, plus analytics that reveal which teams have the conditions for breakthrough thinking and sustained performance.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn to deploy research-validated belonging scales through targeted surveys that reveal trust deficits invisible to traditional engagement measurement
  • Discover inclusive recognition strategies that celebrate authentic contribution and create genuine psychological safety
