The Human Solution is a human-centered leadership and strategy collaborative. We help individuals and organizations develop the tactical emotional intelligence skills necessary to lead diverse teams through the relentless change of the professional landscape.

This webinar utilizes the FSDI (Failure, Stress, and Discomfort Index) to explore different perspectives and communication styles as they relate to failure, discomfort, risk tolerance, and perfectionism.

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own perfectionist tendencies and practice rewriting internal narratives around perfectionism, success, and failure. Additionally, we will explore how organizational culture impacts its employees’ risk tolerance and consider high-level areas of consideration to improve psychological safety and encourage organizational “fear reduction.”

Learning Objectives:

In this webinar, participants will learn to:

  • Identify their own personality tendencies, utilizing the FSDI (Failure, Stress, & Discomfort Index) (Understanding Self).
  • Explore how your relationship with failure and discomfort is tied to your individual risk tolerance.
  • Assess personal perfectionism through the lens of the THS Risk framework, and practice rewriting internal narratives around perfectionism.
  • Consider how an organization’s relationship with failure impacts its employees’ risk tolerance. Explore high-level areas of consideration to improve organizational psychological safety and encourage organizational “fear reduction.”
