High employee turnover is often blamed on recruiting, yet many organizations with strong hiring pipelines continue to struggle with retention. In reality, turnover is frequently driven by what happens after a candidate accepts the offer. Together we will explore the critical post-offer and early tenure moments that most directly influence whether new hires stay and succeed. Attendees will examine how onboarding efficiency, first-day readiness, early peer connection, and clarity around growth and advancement shape engagement in the first 90 days and beyond. The session will also highlight how structured feedback, career pathing, and intentional early development reduce preventable attrition and create a more stable, scalable workforce.
