What issues were being faced?
With 98% of the Village Hotel Club workforce being deskless employees, spread across UK, the main challenge that was being faced was being able to to actively communicate, engage and recognise employees, in real time.
There was also an issue for employees in that it was difficult for the central team to communicate the benefits and other internal offerings with all employees, leading to little uptake of the offerings and very low engagement with the schemes in place.

The Results
What impact has been made?
Village hotels have seen an active uptake and participation on the platform since launch, with 87% of employees registering in the first 6 weeks after launch.
Feedback from staff members across all areas of the group has been positive, with many feeling incentivised with the ability to be awarded points for their hard work and achievements. Manager feedback is that it is now a lot easier to communicate with, and recognise their teams.
Across all areas of the business, engagement levels have increased by 35% as the increase in recognition received for the hard work of the teams has increased morale and engagement.
With the new platform, staff have said that they feel more valued as an employee, they are much more engaged in their role, and happier at work.
